From military site to industrial location: After the withdrawal of Russian troops, the Eisenach-Kindel military training area became partly a national park, partly a location with a commercial airfield – today with around 10 companies.
Since being taken over by LEG in 1999, 12 companies with around 550 employees have settled in the “Kyffhäuserhütte” industrial site. In addition to mechanical engineering and metal processing, service providers from education, planning and multimedia are also represented.
The Rudolstadt-Schwarza industrial area is today a modern industrial location with excellently developed technical infrastructure.
The Erfurt-Südost location is home to numerous technology companies, research institutions, application and start-up centers, as well as business-oriented service providers.
After the implementation of consistent conversion measures, the former military area has developed into an attractive commercial area on the northeastern outskirts of Altenburg.
The industrial par "At the Airport" in Nobitz is situated in the triangle of Thuringia, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt, located between the metropolitan areas of Jena, Leipzig, Dresden, and Chemnitz.
As part of a conversion measure, we are developing and marketing the former Bundeswehr site “Görmar Barracks” in Mühlhausen.
