Area recording helps you systematically document and keep up to date municipal commercial and industrial areas.

We inform and advise you on relevant funding programs and assist you with selection and application.
Internship program
Through our two-day internship program, you gain insight into the working methods and support options of the LEG.

We regularly create aerial photographs of industrial and commercial areas in Thuringia, which you can use for your municipal work. We also have an extensive archive of aerial images from past years.

Erfurter Kreuz - Success stories with global players such as CATL and N3
At 439 hectares, it is the largest industrial park in Thuringia. LEG has been developing the "Erfurter Kreuz" since 2005 and has since attracted world-class companies, including the world's largest battery cell manufacturer Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) and N3 Engine Overhaul Services, a joint venture by Lufthansa Technik and Rolls-Royce.

We will contact Contact and cordially invite you to get to know LEG on site through a job shadowing program and will add your email address to our mailing list of the Working Group of Municipal Economic Development Agencies (AGKW).

Using our services is generally free of charge. Should there ever be an exception, we will explicitly let you know.

How do I register for the LEG internship program?
You register via the Contactform or directly by E-Mail and submit the name and Contactdaten of those you wish to register.
We will then contact you in due course (when a new appointment is being planned) with one or more appointment suggestions.
AGKW Annual Event
The Working Group of Municipal Economic Development Agencies (AGKW) serves as a platform for cooperation between the regions, the LEG, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs to strengthen and further develop the state of Thuringia economically. AGKW 2025 was held under the theme "Digitalization as a Driver of Economic Development“. A day full of inspiration, exchange, and networking.
