Competence fields and references We sell and rent a variety of building plots, apartments, and commercial spaces throughout Thuringia.

Plots for individual dream homes

In over 35 Thuringian cities and municipalities, we offer residential building plots for families who want to realize their dream of owning a home. Buyers receive the plots commission-free, without developer obligation, and ready for construction with full development. Since demand remains very high, new locations are being acquired, prepared in terms of planning law, developed, and marketed. As soon as new plots become available, you can find them via our building area search.

Perspectives for Real Estate

In addition to allocating building plots, we advise buyers and investors, evaluate buildings, determine investment needs, and develop visions for your properties. Furthermore, we develop and market inner-city areas for the construction of residential units as well as for commercial, retail, and leisure facilities. We currently also manage around 60,000 m² of commercial space and 1,500 apartments (predominantly from social housing). Affordable housing is becoming increasingly scarce, especially in central cities. Therefore, in the coming years, we aim to increasingly build privately financed and rent-controlled apartments of medium standard on our own and on land to be acquired.

Urban Development Projects

In the past and present, we are developing urban areas into modern living spaces that attract people to the cities for work, living, and life. Three outstanding projects are located in the capital of Thuringia and make Erfurt even more livable:

  • ICE-City Erfurt: The fast center of Germany

Directly east of Erfurt Central Station, which has been an important hub in the German ICE network since 2017, LEG Thüringen is actively involved in innovative urban development. On approximately 10 hectares, an urban and consistently sustainable district is being created by 2030, whose central component will be the future “DB Campus”. Here, the training and recruitment activities of Deutsche Bahn are to be bundled in a future-oriented manner. LEG Thüringen acts as a partner for the city and Deutsche Bahn AG in the infrastructural redevelopment and supplementary real estate projects.

  • Erfurt's new center: the Brühl

Since the early 1990s, LEG Thüringen has developed a modern and stylish urban district from the former industrial wasteland, which has established itself as a very attractive place to live and work. You can find out what amazing changes have taken place on the 23-hectare site on the urban development project page.

  • Quiet and family-friendly living: Erfurt Ringelberg

The residential area "Ringelbergsiedlung" was built in four construction phases on the eastern outskirts of Erfurt, above the Krämpfervorstadt district. Families live here in a pleasantly quiet location while still being close to the city – a combination that makes the residential location particularly attractive and popular.

    Further information on Erfurt Ringelberg:

    • All plots are fully developed and registered in the land register.
    • In the residential area, there are both purchase and leasehold plots, which have been built on with single-family, semi-detached, or terraced houses in one- to two-story construction.
    • The plot sizes vary between approximately 470 m² and 3,000 m².
    • With the directly adjacent Stadtbahn line 2, Erfurt's city center and the main station can be reached in just a few minutes.
    • The nearby eastern bypass "Erfurter Ring“ provides a quick connection to federal highways 4 and 7 as well as motorways 4 and 71.
    • With supermarkets, a pharmacy and drugstore, as well as local doctors, Ringelberg offers residents good infrastructural amenities.
    • Kindergartens are also available on site, and schools are in the immediate vicinity.
    • Sports and playgrounds are as numerous as opportunities to relax in the surrounding nature.
