Studies & Analyses
In order to provide innovation stakeholders in Thuringia with current market data and developments, we constantly keep an eye on political events at the national and European level as well as global economic developments and draw conclusions for the Free State of Thuringia.
We regularly commission comprehensive analyses and surveys to determine the needs of companies and to target funding precisely where needed, so that Thuringia can further expand its competitive position as a leading location for business and innovation.
Secondly, these studies contribute to identifying and publicly discussing future topics. They thus offer not only profound insights into current issues but also provide strategic recommendations for political decision-makers and economic actors.
This ensures that we develop and implement targeted measures that have the potential to sustainably strengthen the economic dynamism and innovative capacity within Thuringia.

Study series: Car Monitor
With the AUTOMONITOR Thüringen series, a component of Thuringia's innovation strategy, the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (TMWLLR) and Innovativ Thüringen aim to gain detailed insights into the state and future prospects of the Thuringian automotive industry in order to incorporate these into economic policy strategies and support programs. Furthermore, we want to provide Thuringian companies in the automotive and supplier sectors with benchmarks for their own corporate strategies and inform the interested public about the current status of this leading Thuringian industry.
The study is based on a mid-three-figure number of data sets from annually recurring online surveys. Representatives from Thuringian companies with a location in the state and an automotive component of their company revenue are surveyed.
