Welcome to Brühl!
In the heart of Erfurt, you'll find one of the state capital's most modern districts: Brühl. Numerous restored and newly constructed buildings characterize the district and offer ample space for living, working, and realizing ideas, right behind Erfurt Cathedral.
Since the mid-1990s, Brühl has been developing into a sustainable and vibrant area. Where once there was an industrial wasteland of approximately 23 hectares, today there is stylish and modern urban architecture. An exemplary development has taken place, resulting in new infrastructure, green spaces, and a mix of commerce, services, culture, and residential areas.

Unbeatably central!
Thuringia's central location and state-of-the-art transport infrastructure make it the fast-paced heart of Germany. With the completion of the new ICE hub in 2017, travel times from Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, and Dresden will be reduced to an average of two hours. Erfurt will then be even more easily accessible for visitors, business travelers, and conference and congress participants. This is a further advantage for the Brühl district, as it is located in Erfurt's city center and boasts excellent transport connections to the historic city center, the trade fair grounds, the motorways, and the airport. Public transport is readily available.

The Erfurt-Brühl eV gives new impetus to a district
A neighborhood association was founded in the summer of 2007 for the area between Domberg and Gothaer Platz. The aim of the Erfurt-Brühl eV is to promote the development of this up-and-coming area, to utilize synergies between stakeholders in Brühl, and to launch joint initiatives.
The board of Erfurt-Brühl e.V. includes institutions and companies that already serve as "beacons" in the district. The board is composed as follows: Mr. Stefan A. Beck - Chairman, Dr. Holger Wiemers, Mr. Patrik Frank, Mr. Boris Weikert.
