Brief introduction of the alliance partner
The German Retail Federation (HDE) represents companies of all sizes and distribution channels. As the representative of the third-largest economic sector, the German Retail Federation (HDE) is responsible for one in twelve jobs in Germany. Through close dialogue with manufacturers, policymakers, and the public, we represent the interests of a sector largely comprised of medium-sized businesses, as the vast majority of retail companies employ fewer than 50 people and generate a maximum annual turnover of €10 million. Our commitment to city centers is demonstrated, for example, by the "City Impulses" project pool (link below).
