Brief introduction of the alliance partner
Department 3 is responsible for energy and climate. Division 35 deals with the topics of climate change, climate impacts, with a special focus on climate adaptation.
The TMUEN is responsible for the following areas:
Department 2: Technical Environmental Protection, Water Management, Mining
Department 3: Energy and Climate
Department 4: Nature Conservation and Sustainability
Focus of the alliance partner within the alliance
The protection of our natural livelihoods is directly linked to curbing climate change. Climate change has made adapting to it one of the greatest challenges of our time.
Division 35 therefore provides various tools:
- Climate impact monitoring report: updated every 5 years
- IMPAKT I & II: presents 47 adaptation measures from relevant fields of action
- Promotion of climate impact adaptation in municipalities as a central future and precautionary task through the triad ReKIS – Climate Guide – Klimainvest
