Brief introduction of the alliance partner
According to § 1 (1) IHKG, the IHK Ostthüringen systematically, continuously and comprehensively represents the overall interests of the commercial economy vis-à-vis politics and administration. For around 34,000 member companies, we are a business-oriented service provider, a critical partner of politics and an independent advocate of the market. We are committed to the success of our members and see ourselves as a shaping force for East Thuringia.
Focus of the alliance partner within the alliance
The strategic orientation of the cities and municipalities in eastern Thuringia requires cooperative concepts and their resolute implementation. The aim is to network trade, hospitality, culture, industry, and regional mobility services, to support companies and cities in the process of digitalization, and to develop practical solutions for pressing problems such as inner-city vacancies.
