Brief introduction of the alliance partner
Association of Thuringian municipalities, to ensure their concerns at the state, federal and European level, especially vis-à-vis the state government and the state parliament. The association informs its members on municipal policy issues. For regional support, there are 17 district associations and 5 independent cities.
Focus of the alliance partner within the alliance
The municipalities in the Association of Towns and Municipalities of Thuringia represent the central platform of current urban redevelopment activities and are politically and professionally indispensable in their steering function.
Within the framework of the alliance, the association can serve as a multiplier and contribute technical expertise from three levels (federal/state/municipalities).
