Brief introduction of the alliance partner
The Thuringian Municipal Association is an advocacy group representing the interests of Thuringian municipalities at the state, federal, and European levels, particularly with regard to the state government and parliament. The association informs its members on municipal policy issues. It has 17 district associations and 5 independent cities to provide regional support.
Focus of the alliance partner within the framework of the alliance
The municipalities in the Thuringian Association of Municipalities and Cities represent the central platform for current urban redevelopment activities and are indispensable in their steering function, both politically and professionally.
Within the framework of the alliance, the association can serve as a multiplier and contribute expert knowledge from three levels (federal/state/municipal).
