Sustainable and intelligent mobility and logistics
The mobility of the future will be resource-efficient and climate-neutral, networked, multimodal, and particularly user-friendly. Digitalization is the driving force behind the development of innovative mobility vehicles on the one hand and novel mobility models on the other. Driving tasks will increasingly be taken over by machines and algorithms, thus changing the role of humans in the mobility system.

profile
Vision and goals
Thuringia's innovative strength in the automotive industry, mobility and logistics is reflected in the following aspects:
Studies
Innovativ Thüringen regularly designs, commissions and publishes analyses to examine trends and developments in Thuringia, identify potential for the Free State, derive recommendations for action and implement them.
Cluster and network organizations
automotive thüringen e. V.
Founded in 2000 by nine Thuringian companies as Automobilzulieferer Thüringen eV (AZT), the current automotive thüringen eV (at) has for many years organized well over 100 Thuringian automotive suppliers as network partners. In addition, several universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutions, banks, leasing companies, and other service providers are members of at.
As a partner and network, automotive thüringen e.V. creates a platform for exchange and thus promotes new developments and successful innovations in Thuringia. Through analyses of relevant trends, programs for further education and employee qualification, shaping economic policy frameworks, and targeted public relations, it supports its member companies in the areas of technological development, in-house research and development capacities, technology transfer through the use of local capacities at technical colleges and universities, further education, customer-oriented quality initiatives, risk analyses of new investments, and analysis of market developments (benchmarking against OEMs, suppliers, and necessary infrastructure).
Logistics Network Thuringia eV.
The Thuringia Logistics Network is a cooperative association of specialists from all areas of logistics. In addition to freight forwarders, shippers, and contract logistics providers, the network unites stakeholders from the fields of consulting, combined transport, training and further education, IT, research and development, personnel services, logistics-related services, associations, and public administration. The network sees itself as a cluster of expertise along the entire supply chain and advocates a holistic approach.
The association's goal is to strengthen Thuringia as a European distribution hub. To achieve this, its members develop future-proof, sustainable, and needs-based solutions and structures for the logistics sector. All Thuringian industrial, manufacturing, and trading companies benefit from these solutions and structures, as efficient (production) logistics forms the basis for increased added value and productivity.
The Thuringia Logistics Network is closely linked with other industry clusters and networks in Thuringia to identify commonalities and achieve synergies. Furthermore, it maintains close Contact with other German logistics networks for mutual exchange and cooperation in supra-regional projects.
