As part of LEG Thüringen Innovativ Thüringen is the central platform for strengthening Thuringia as a hub of innovation. On behalf of the Free State of Thuringia, we bring together companies, research institutions, and academia to foster new ideas and collaborations. Our goal is to advance innovative solutions and promote technology transfer in our five specialized fields.
We support the implementation of the Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS Thuringia) and assist in the development, networking, and realization of innovation and funding projects. Our services include strategic consulting, networking formats, information on funding opportunities, and the organization of specialist events, workshops, and exchange platforms.

The Thuringian Agency for Skilled Worker Recruitment (ThAFF), as a statewide institution and welcome center, is the central point of contact for everyone who would like to work and live in Thuringia, as well as for Thuringian companies that need support in retaining and recruiting skilled workers. Employees with a migration background not only bring their intercultural and native language skills to everyday business, but they also often possess country-specific market, product, and specialist knowledge that is essential for developing new export markets.
However, several legal aspects must be considered when hiring, which vary depending on the country of origin of the potential skilled workers. As ThAFF and the Welcome Center, we support Thuringian companies that wish to hire international skilled workers with a comprehensive range of consulting and support services.
