This is exactly where the 10th Thuringian Machine Building Day at.
Automation and autonomization are no longer just trends, but decisive prerequisites for competitiveness and growth. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that successfully operate in the market with high product variety, small series, or even batch size 1, this presents particular challenges. However, Thuringia offers the best conditions to overcome these: innovative special machine builders, strong sensor and software expertise, short distances between companies and research, and a pronounced culture of innovation.
Together invite Innovativ Thüringen der LEG and the Thuringian Center for Mechanical Engineering (ThZM) – a network of five research and development institutions – invites you to learn about practical solutions for the production of tomorrow. For over ten years, the Mechanical Engineering Day has followed a clear philosophy: bringing together business and science and making application-oriented innovations visible.
For the anniversary, this approach becomes particularly tangible: In three pitch sessions, companies and research institutions present concrete solutions for Automation of production processes, on autonomization of industrial processes as well as for intelligent organization and control of production systems. The program is complemented by two high-profile keynotes from science and industry on the topics of Cognitive Production as well as digitalized factories of the future.
