This is precisely where the 10th Thuringian Mechanical Engineering Day to.
Automation and autonomization are no longer just trends, but crucial prerequisites for competitiveness and growth. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that operate successfully in the market with a high degree of product variety, small production runs, or even batch size one, face particular challenges. However, Thuringia offers ideal conditions for overcoming these challenges: innovative special-purpose machine manufacturers, strong expertise in sensor technology and software, short communication channels between companies and research institutions, and a pronounced culture of innovation.
Together we invite you Innovative Thuringia of the LEG and that Thuringian Center for Mechanical Engineering (ThZM) – a consortium of five research and development institutions – invites participants to discover practical solutions for the production of tomorrow. For over ten years, the Mechanical Engineering Day has followed a clear philosophy: bringing together industry and science and showcasing application-oriented innovations.
This approach will be particularly tangible at the anniversary celebration: In three pitch sessions, companies and research institutions will present concrete solutions for Automation of production processes, to Autonomization of industrial processes as well as to intelligent organization and control of production systemsThe program is complemented by two high-caliber keynote speeches from science and industry on the following topics: Cognitive production as well as digitized factories of the future.
