As part of the annual event InnoCON Thüringen 2025, it was officially announced: The Thüringer ClusterManagement (ThCM) now has a new name – Innovativ Thüringen.

But behind this name change is far more than a mere renaming – it represents a substantive further development and an expanded scope of responsibilities. The portfolio is broader, the strategic focus sharper. In this way, the organization is responding to the growing importance of innovations for Thuringia as a business and science location.

With Innovativ Thüringen makes the self-image visible: the goal is to holistically strengthen Thuringia as an innovation location. This includes the targeted expansion of knowledge and technology transfer, the promotion of cooperation between business and science, and the support of strategic innovation processes.

The new name sums it up: Innovativ Thüringen stands for the future, networking, and progress – and for a strong innovation strategy in the Free State.
