Tasks & job requirements

Your tasks:

Identification, acquisition and development of investment and settlement projects in the electronics, semiconductor and security and defense industry sectors
Responsibility for the development, establishment, and further advancement of the security and defense industry sector
Development of individual location offers and settlement concepts for companies as well as independent planning and implementation of suitable measures for successful settlement at the Thuringia business location
Active marketing of the Thuringia business and technology location domestically and internationally through presentations, trade fair appearances, and targeted networking

Analysis of market, industry, and regional data to identify potentials and trends in the electronics, semiconductor, security, and defense industries
systematic Contactmanagement to identify potential investors through industry, cluster, research, and network work
comprehensive support for investors and companies throughout the entire settlement and investment process, including subsequent investor care

Your profile:

successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
good knowledge of the electronics and/or semiconductor industry, particularly regarding value chains, relevant technologies, and key market players
sound knowledge of the security and defense industry, Bundeswehr experience is desirable
initial experience in economic development, investor relations, or business development is an advantage
experience in project management

very good English skills in spoken and written form
Routine use of standard MS Office programs
Car driver's license
high service orientation and pronounced Contactability
very good communication and presentation skills
high willingness to travel, nationally and internationally
