Tasks & job requirements

Your tasks:

Identification, active outreach and comprehensive support of investors in the security and defense industry as well as electronics and semiconductors
Development and implementation of industry-specific acquisition and outreach strategies and concepts
Development of individual location offers and proposals for companies as well as independent planning and implementation of measures for successful settlement in Thuringia
Marketing the business and technology location Thuringia domestically and internationally through presentations and active networking

Analysis of market, industry, and regional data to identify potentials and trends
systematic Contactmanagement to identify potential investors through industry, cluster, research, and network work
Settlement service throughout the entire investment process including aftercare investor support
Project management and controlling within the framework of investor support as well as coordination of relevant stakeholders in the settlement process

Your profile:

successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
in-depth knowledge of the security and defense industry, experience with the German Armed Forces is desirable
good knowledge of the electronics and/or semiconductor industry, particularly regarding value chains, relevant technologies, and key market players
initial experience in economic development, investor relations, or business development is an advantage
comprehensive project management experience
very good English skills in spoken and written (negotiation level)
Routine use of standard MS Office programs
Car driver's license
