The Thuringian Hidden Championscampaign has now been able to award the company HETEK Lift- und Hebetechnik GmbH from Treffurt as its newest member. With the Hidden Champions campaign (hidden champions) in Thuringia, the Free State and its state development company (LEG Thüringen) honor world market and technology leaders based here. HETEK may now also call itself such a “Champion“. Representatives of LEG Thüringen visited the company headquarters to present the certificate of appointment. The company has been successful on the markets for many years as a leading provider of lifts and lifting technologies for logistical and military applications. It develops and produces innovative lifting supports, which are mainly used for loading and leveling containers, field kitchens, and mobile hospitals. The result is a strong market position both nationally and internationally.

This honor not only confirms the hard work and commitment of our team, but also shows how important medium-sized companies like HETEK are for the economic strength of our region," explained Matthias Bischoff, Production Manager of HETEK Lift- und Hebetechnik GmbH. "With our innovative products, we make a significant contribution to the competitiveness of the Thuringian economy. We are confident that we will continue to grow and continue our successes in the future." The company joins a group of 98 outstanding companies that together employ more than 14,000 employees and generate around 8 billion euros in sales. Among them are internationally known corporations such as Carl Zeiss and Jenoptik as well as Hidden Champions such as Häcker Automation and Askion. HETEK's motto is "We put your mobile world on a secure footing." "To do this, we continue to need skilled workers," said Managing Director Henning Seffers. "We are all the more pleased to continue to present ourselves as an attractive employer in the future and to offer people from Treffurt and the surrounding area jobs and a secure future." The company currently employs more than 60 employees, it is a training company and gives students from the region the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various areas of metal processing, construction and commercial fields and to develop career prospects.
