After the welcome by IHK President Torsten Herrmann and LEG Managing Director Andreas Krey, greetings followed from Minister of Economic Affairs Colette Boos-John and Prof. Dang Hoang Linh from the Vietnamese Embassy. Around 150 participants had followed the invitation; the interest in cooperation with the country is great.
Successful practical examples from Thuringian companies demonstrated the diversity of collaboration. The panel discussion highlighted potentials in a globalized world. Workshops on market entry, skilled worker recruitment, and cultural understanding offered practical insights. A special highlight was the ceremonial induction of the new trainees as part of the Vietnam project. The evening concluded with networking and a Thuringian-Vietnamese cultural program.
To get an overview directly on site, a business trip to Vietnam with stops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is planned for the fall. Further highlights in the program of Thüringen International include the delegation trip led by Thuringia's Minister of Economic Affairs to China, as well as a market exploration in Azerbaijan and a business trip to the Africa Tech Festival in Cape Town.
