The trip reciprocated an invitation from Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Chairman of Masdar. The aim of this trip was to strengthen existing economic relations, establish new Contacte, and offer Thuringian companies opportunities to better understand the economic situation in this region. The focus areas were the solar technology, environment, and infrastructure sectors, as well as healthcare. The delegation also included representatives from five Thuringian universities. Two of these universities signed memoranda with Arab partners during the delegation trip. The foreign trade chamber arranged individual appointments. In workshops, companies and universities were also able to learn about the Masdar City project and the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. to the image gallery
