Trip to Vietnam – Focus on Skilled Workers

The trip was made in reference to a large delegation trip to the Southeast Asian country that took place last year. Now it was possible to successfully build on the previous Contacte, but also to establish new relationships. In addition to business meetings and company visits, the program also included a visit to the trade fair Vinamac – The International Exhibition on Industrial Machinery, Equipment, Technology and Products in Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt. A clear focus was placed on the topic of skilled workers. The delegation visited the LEG foreign representation Hanoi IEC, which has been a valuable Thuringian partner for years in recruiting skilled workers and trainees for the state's economy. The delegation members received information about relevant projects and met potential candidates for their companies on site. Furthermore, the participants attended appointments at educational institutions such as the German Competence Academy and the Goethe-Institut. (hw)
