Central Asia offers quite a lot of potential for Thuringian companies and research institutes – as our business trip to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan impressively demonstrated last week.
At all our stops we were received with great appreciation, and the interest in Thuringian expertise and know-how was palpable everywhere. Our 25 Thuringian participants were thus able to explore promising cooperation opportunities. Companies such as Petkus Technologie GmbH from Wutha-Farnroda and Erfurt Bildungszentrum gGmbH also successfully deepened existing cooperations; TITTK e.V. Thuringian Institute for Plastics Research (TITK) from Rudolstadt found cooperation and business options, among others, at the Textile Institute Tashkent and at the Association of the Textile Industry of Uzbekistan.
Even after the trip, we remain on the ball here for all Thuringian companies that want to gain a foothold in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
