Thuringian market research trip to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

Central Asia offers considerable potential for Thuringian companies and research institutes – as our company trip to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan last week impressively demonstrated.
At all our stops, we were received with great appreciation; everywhere, the interest in Thuringian expertise and know-how was palpable. Our 25 Thuringian participants were thus able to explore promising cooperation opportunities. Companies such as Petkus Technologie GmbH from Wutha-Farnroda and Erfurt Bildungszentrum gGmbH also successfully deepened existing collaborations; the Thuringian Institute for Plastics Research (TITK) from Rudolstadt found cooperation and business opportunities with, among others, the Textile Institute in Tashkent and the Association of the Textile Industry of Uzbekistan.

Even after the trip, we will continue to support all Thuringian companies that want to establish a presence in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
