ERFURT_ Buses running on hydrogen, electrically operated cargo bikes, automated truck fleets or driverless “People Mover“: The international motor show IAA Transportation 2022 in Hanover offers innovative, often surprising solutions for the mobility of the future from Tuesday, 20 to Sunday, 25 September. As in previous years, the Free State is also present with a joint stand (Hall 13, Stand E41): Five Thuringian exhibitors present their potential to visitors on this platform. The stand is again organized by LEG Thüringen on behalf of the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG).
The LEG organizes as the economic development agency of the Free State various Thuringian joint stands throughout the year. “With the IAA we are starting an eventful ‘fair autumn’, which offers our Thuringian companies diverse opportunities for presentation at home and abroad,“, says LEG managing director Andreas Krey. “The IAA gives our exhibitors the chance to build up and expand the personal Contact to customers, to strengthen relationships with cooperation partners and to identify current industry trends. This year, which again has increasingly enabled Trade Fairs on site, has made it once more very clear how important these presence events are for the companies .“
The exhibitors at the Thuringian joint stand are:
- a2-solar Advanced Automotive Solar Systems GmbH (Erfurt)
- the automotive thüringen e. V. (Erfurt)
- the Eichsfelder Schraubenwerk GmbH (Heilbad Heiligenstadt),
- Sedlmayer GmbH (Triptis),
- the TITK – Thuringian Institute for Textile and Plastics Research e. V. (Rudolstadt)
The booth invites conversations and visits; on Wednesday, September 21, from 6 p.m., the booth event will take place with the “Thüringen-Date“, which also offers many options for encounters and Contacte. After the IAA Mobility in Munich launched last year with a new, contemporary concept, this year it is the turn of the IAA Transportation in Hanover. In alternation, the IAA Mobility presents products, services, and innovations around the passenger vehicle sector, while the IAA Transportation focuses on commercial vehicles. Both Trade Fairs are leading trade fairs for the automotive industry. Thuringia has been represented here with joint booths since 2015.
