The representative office is organized through a consulting firm. The goal is to attract US investors to the Free State and at the same time support Thuringian companies in entering the US market – from market analyses and partner search to certification and soft-landing solutions.
The USA, with over 10% share of export volume, is Thuringia's most important sales market. The choice of location goes back to the delegation trip of Minister President Mario Voigt and Minister of Economic Affairs Colette Boos-John in May 2025. With the new office, Thuringia strengthens its presence in a key region and sends a clear signal for growth and internationalization.
