Rendezvous stop enables 15-minute intervals in the urban triangle on the Saale bend

Construction began in early March 2026 on the new "Dreiklang" public transport interchange. This project will significantly increase the attractiveness of public transport in the Rudolstadt-Saalfeld/Saale-Bad Blankenburg urban area. With the implementation of a new timetable, the interchange will offer a variety of transfer options, more travel possibilities, and create the foundation for more frequent service in the region. Specifically, once the interchange is completed, the three towns will be connected by bus lines every 15 minutes. The facility will be fully accessible and equipped with state-of-the-art features, including special boarding platforms and dynamic passenger information displays.
