Rendezvous stop enables 15-minute intervals in the city triangle on the Saale arc

Construction of the new public transport interchange facility "Dreiklang" began in early March 2026. The project will significantly increase the attractiveness of local public transport in the city triangle of Rudolstadt-Saalfeld/Saale-Bad Blankenburg. The Rendezvous stop will offer a variety of transfer options and more travel possibilities when a new timetable is implemented, creating the basis for a more frequent service in the city triangle. Specifically, after the completion of the Rendezvous stop, the three cities will be connected by bus lines every 15 minutes. The facility will be barrier-free and feature state-of-the-art equipment – including special curbs and dynamic passenger information in the future.
