At the end of November, a 20-member Thuringian delegation traveled to the Netherlands with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). As part of GTAI's ISW program, the main focus was on establishing Contacte for Thuringian companies in the semiconductor industry, sensor technology, and high-performance ceramics, and on inspiring Dutch companies to consider Thuringia as an investment location.

The program was promising, including, for example, a visit to the High Tech Campus Eindhoven and thus the “smartest square kilometer in Europe.” The proud title is not without reason: the density of innovative companies from various application areas on the campus is immense at 300. The delegation also visited ASML, the largest supplier of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Other stops were Delft and Amsterdam. An investor event, flanked by interesting lectures, and a networking event, the German-Dutch Hightech Forum, for establishing contacts with players in the fields of semiconductor technologies, sensor technology, high-performance ceramics, and Next Generation Semicon were not to be missed.
