The second ITF Forum took place on December 18, 2023, at the COMCENTER Brühl in Erfurt. Thuringia's Minister for Infrastructure, Susanna Karawanskij, along with approximately 130 participants, learned about the ITF project and its implementation in the model region of Saale-Orla-Kreis/Landkreis Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, as well as in the designated focus region Schmalkalden-Meiningen | Hildburghausen | SuhlAn extensive panel discussion provided the perfect setting for a focused expert discussion, including new impetus for the project in Thuringia.
The response has shown that interest in and the need for the successful implementation of the ITF project in Thuringia remain strong. Interesting discussions took place on the sidelines of the event – also with participants from neighboring federal states. This could potentially lead to regional cooperation opportunities across state borders, which could be beneficial for ITF planning and thus for public transport users.
The next ITF Forum will take place on December 13, 2024 at the LEG business location COMCENTER Brühl Erfurt.
