The LEG is pursuing the goal of rolling out its own service even better throughout Thuringia by creating a central "Municipal Service Point". The established offerings remain in place, including the land and company database and its integration into municipal websites, contributions to land statistics, or the provision of aerial images. Economic developers can continue to get to know the LEG through internship programs, and conversely, on-site visits by the LEG will continue. The focus remains unbroken on productive cooperation, targeted assistance, and effective networking.
New is the central coordination of this service package, which shortens the path to the right contact person within the LEG. The inclusion of the service center in the existing website "Invest in Thüringen“ also contributes to this. Anna Elisabeth Rinke, who was previously the contact person for commercial and industrial areas, will be the new face of the service center.
In addition, the once-a-year "Working Group of Municipal Economic Developers" (AGKW) is being expanded. More interaction and conceptual adjustments give the network event a fresh look. This improves LEG's service offering for municipal economic development and at the same time positions it even closer to the pulse of economic affairs in the Free State.
