Right from the start of the trip, during the business brunch, individual company visits, and economic policy meetings at the Armenian Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Education, the strong interest in expanding relations with Thuringia became evident. In Yerevan, around 30 B2B meetings were organized as part of a cooperation exchange with Armenian companies. This demonstrates that there are numerous, and above all, cross-sectoral opportunities for our Thuringian delegation to connect with each other, which we intend to further develop. Thuringia also plans to expand its economic relations in Georgia in the coming days. Here, too, the agenda includes meetings at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and company visits.
The current conditions for expanding and deepening relations in the region appear extremely favorable: The South Caucasus is currently scoring points with very high growth rates, ambitious infrastructure programs and a generally improved investment climate.
