Already at the beginning of the trip, during the business brunch, individual company visits, and economic policy appointments at the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia, the great interest in expanding relations with Thuringia became evident. In Yerevan, around 30 B2B discussions were organized as part of a cooperation exchange with Armenian companies. This shows: there are numerous and, above all, cross-sectoral concrete opportunities for our Thuringian delegation to connect, which need to be further developed. In Georgia, Thuringia also wants to expand its economic relations in the coming days. Here too, appointments at the Ministry of Economy and company visits are on the agenda, among other things.
The framework conditions for expanding and deepening relations with the region currently appear extremely favorable: The South Caucasus is currently scoring with very high growth rates, ambitious infrastructure programs, and a generally improved investment climate.
