For the second time, Thuringia was present at the Barcelona trade fair with a joint stand Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2023 – the world's largest and most influential trade fair for the areas urban innovations, smart applications for cities and municipalities, mobility, energy, Software development as well as procurement - represent. Seventeen participants from Thuringia took part, representing four Thuringian companies and projects. Over 1,100 exhibitors (including around 800 cities and municipalities) presented themselves and their smart solutions to approximately 20,000 international trade visitors.
This event offered numerous opportunities for networking and exchanging innovative ideas. Thuringian exhibitors were able to present their products and services to an international audience at the matchmaking events and rapid pitching sessions organized by GTAI. The Thuringian program also included an exclusive opportunity to explore Barcelona's 22@ innovation and technology district, led by a qualified architect from the global network "Guiding Architects.".
With new ideas and Contact in our hand luggage, we returned and are already looking forward to the next one Smart City Expo World Congress 2024.
