For the second time, Thuringia was represented with a joint stand in Barcelona at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2023 – the world's largest and most influential trade fair for the areas urban innovations, smart applications for cities and municipalities, mobility, Energy, Software development as well as Procurement – represented. For the second time, Thuringia was represented with a joint stand in Barcelona at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2023 – the world's largest and most influential trade fair for urban innovations, smart applications for cities and municipalities, mobility, energy, software development, and procurement. 17 Thuringian participants were on board, representing four Thuringian companies and projects. Over 1,100 exhibitors (including around 800 cities and municipalities) presented themselves and their smart solutions to the approximately 20,000 international trade visitors.
This offered numerous opportunities for networking and exchanging innovative ideas. As part of the match-making events organized by GTAI and the rapid pitching, the Thuringian exhibitors were able to present themselves to an international audience. In the Thuringian supporting program, there was the exclusive opportunity, guided by a trained architect of the globally active network “Guiding Architects“, to get to know and understand Barcelona's innovation and technology district 22@.
We returned with new food for thought and Contacten in our luggage and are already looking forward to the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024.
