The Thuringian business trip to Turkey, originally scheduled for June, will now take place from September 21st to 27th after a postponement. The trip, open to all industries, will take the delegation to Istanbul, Adana, and Mersin.
Key program highlights in Istanbul will include two cooperation fairs – organized jointly with major Turkish business associations – designed to assist in finding the perfect business partner. Furthermore, a diverse program awaits you in Adana and Mersin, featuring information and networking events, company visits, and intercultural exchange.
Turkey is not only a very dynamic market – the country on the Bosporus also serves as a significant trading hub for the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Africa. The importance of the Turkish market for Thuringia is also reflected in the statistics: the value of Thuringian exports to Turkey rose from €180 million in 2021 to €321 million in 2024 – a remarkable development!
