For the first time, Thuringia was represented with a joint stand at the Precision Fair in the Netherlands. The international trade fair for measurement, control, and automation technology, as well as for optoelectronics and precision mechanics, was held for the 20th time. The geographical and industry-related proximity to ASML – the world's largest supplier of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry – and the high proportion of small and medium-sized suppliers among the exhibitors were once again characteristic of the fair.
Although visitor traffic at the two-day trade fair remained manageable due to the pandemic, the Thuringian exhibitors were able to generate promising leads. An exhibitors' evening and a networking dinner complemented the well-organized and thoughtfully planned event. Just in time before another lockdown in the Netherlands, the Thuringians were able to begin their journey back to their home state with their new Contact in hand.
The trade fair concept convinced us – therefore, it's official: Thüringen International will again organize a joint Thuringian stand at the Precision Fair next year. We are pleased to accept your expression of interest.
