The Precision Fair in 's-Hertogenbosch (colloquially: Den Bosch) is a major industry meeting place for companies active along the entire precision engineering value chain. In particular, the fair is frequented by (potential) suppliers of the Dutch company ASML – the world's largest supplier of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry and the second most valuable listed company in the Eurozone - embossed.
The Thuringian joint stand was represented at the trade fair for the second time, following its premiere last year. Compared to the previous year, which was impacted by the pandemic, a significant increase in visitor numbers was recorded, providing Thuringian companies with an ideal platform for establishing new Contact . The trade visitors showed great interest in the Thuringian exhibitors, in Thuringia in general, and in Jena as an optics hub in particular. The trade fair program was complemented by B2B meetings, technical presentations, and an evening event hosted by the fair itself.
"It was a great pleasure to once again support the Thuringian exhibitors at this trade fair and, together with my colleague Susann Martens, to present the Free State as an attractive business location. Alongside North Rhine-Westphalia, the Free State was the most represented German state at the fair. The entire concept of this small but excellent trade fair once again fully convinced us. Therefore, it is certain: this trade fair will also be on Thuringia International's agenda in 2023," summarized LEG project manager Thilo Nürnberg.
