ERFURT _ The Thuringian Agency for Skilled Worker Recruitment (ThAFF), together with the Economic Development Agency of the City of Erfurt, is organizing the Commuter and Returnee Day on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at Peterstraße 5 in Erfurt. The ThAFF has been a competent point of contact for skilled worker recruitment and retention in Thuringia for over ten years.

Background:
The Thuringian Agency For Skilled Worker Recruitment (ThAFF) is located at the LEG Thüringen and was founded in 2011. On behalf of the Thuringian Ministry of Labor, it pursues the goal of helping Thuringian companies meet their ever-growing need for skilled workers. On the other hand, it also aims to support, among others, young people who are about to enter working life, as well as commuters or potential returnees in taking up (or resuming) a professional activity in Thuringia. To this end, the ThAFF markets Thuringia as a place of employment, advises its target groups, and informs them about job opportunities in the Free State (for example, as part of commuter days).
