New headquarters in Jena

After considerable growth in recent years and the successful completion of a financing round, the FBGS Technologies GmbH in September of last year with a groundbreaking ceremony for their expansion project in Jena. The new building brings an expansion of office and production space to over 2,000 m², which increases production capacity many times over. FBGS stands for Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors, which offer many advantages compared to conventional sensors. Since they are completely immune to electromagnetic radiation, they can also be used in areas with high radiation, such as in medical technology or the energy industry. With over 15 years of experience, the company offers customer-specific solutions for strain, pressure, temperature, shape, and force measurement. Customers come from 36 countries and can be advised in 16 different languages. (maa)
