The vacant building of the former hotel "Altenburger Hof" was extensively modernized. The operating company of the new hotel – Habitels Hospitality Service & Management GmbH – targets both business travelers and tourists with its offering and expands the accommodation options with one of the largest and most modern hotels in the region.
The house offers 144 modernly equipped rooms, service offerings according to international Best Western standards, as well as 8 rooms for meetings and events for up to 80 people. A fitness area and gaming room are also part of the amenities. Due to its location in Altenburg, guests benefit from the proximity to the historic old town, cultural attractions, and the regional economic structure.
The investment underscores confidence in the development of the Altenburger Land location. In particular, for companies, organizers, and visitors from home and abroad, the new hotel noticeably improves the infrastructural framework conditions. At the same time, the project creates new jobs and strengthens the local value creation.
