How can digital bridges be built between Thuringia and the Western Cape? That was the big question of our online meeting. Under the motto “Let`s get digital“ we explored opportunities for cooperation in the areas of e-health, tourism, IT security, and FinTech.
Also present were Thuringian companies, the Digital Agency Thuringia GmbH, our foreign representative Anja Tambusso-Ferraz, as well as representatives of the Silicon Cape Initiative and Wesgro, and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa for Thuringia and Hesse, Dieter Ortmann. The online meeting also provided the Thuringian participants with a good platform to present their company and their know-how in short pitches to potential partners in the Western Cape metropolitan region (Cape Town).
