LEG celebrates topping-out ceremony in Rudolspark

RUDOLSTADT – The new apartment buildings in Rudolspark are taking shape: LEG Thüringencelebrated the topping-out ceremony for its construction project today, Monday, August 17, 2015. The state-owned company is building two apartment buildings with a total of twelve units in the green residential area on Keilhauer Straße. LEG Managing Director Frank Krätzschmar, along with Rudolstadt's Mayor Jörg Reichl and representatives of the construction companies, attended the ceremony and witnessed the rapid construction progress. "The first families will be able to move in starting in May of next year," he announced. "We have already secured tenants for ten units or are close to finalizing agreements with serious prospective tenants. We will sign the first leases next month." The two apartment buildings will offer a total of 1,125 square meters of living space, divided into six three-room apartments and six four-room apartments, all finished to a high standard. Ranging in size from 75 to 115 square meters and each including a parking space, the apartments offer ideal conditions, especially for families and couples planning to start a family. They are also barrier-free, accessible by elevator, and feature a cellar and a balcony or terrace. The buildings benefit from a quiet, park-like setting; the property is surrounded by mature, abundant trees and boasts ample green space in the immediate vicinity. The site was originally a former military barracks, which, after German reunification, became part of the special fund "WGT-Liegenschaften Thüringen" and was subsequently redeveloped by LEG.
