Intermediate stage in the construction of two new apartment buildings reached / First rental contracts to be signed in September, move-in from May 2016
RUDOLSTADT _ The new residential buildings in Rudolspark are taking shape: LEG Thüringencelebrated the topping-out ceremony for its construction project on Monday, August 17, 2015. The state company is building two apartment buildings with a total of twelve apartments in the green residential area on Keilhauer Straße. LEG Managing Director Frank Krätzschmar took part in the celebration together with Rudolstadt's Mayor Jörg Reichl and representatives of the construction companies and saw the rapid construction progress for himself. “The first families can move in here from May next year,” he gave an outlook. “We have already won tenants for ten units or are about to close with serious interested parties. We will sign the first rental contracts next month.” A total of 1,125 square meters of living space is being created in the two apartment buildings. They are divided into six 3-room apartments and six 4-room apartments of a high standard. With a size of 75 to 115 square meters and a parking space each, the apartments offer good conditions especially for families and couples wishing to have children. They are also barrier-free, accessible by elevator, and have a cellar as well as a balcony or terrace. The buildings benefit from a quiet location with a park atmosphere; the property is surrounded by old, rich tree stock and has plenty of greenery in the immediate vicinity. Originally, the site was a former barracks area that, after reunification, became part of the special fund “WGT-Liegenschaften Thüringen” and was subsequently redeveloped by LEG.
