"For Thuringia's medium-sized companies with their specialized products, constant further development is necessary in order to remain competitive in the market. With the investment in a new production facility, Jenaer Gewindetechnik is not only modernizing its production, but can also better meet the steadily growing demand," emphasizes Thuringia's Economics Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee, whose ministry is supporting the company with investment funding of one million euros. This also makes it possible to create modern workplaces for the currently around 100 employees. The company has been manufacturing ball screw drives since 1970, which are now in demand primarily in the fields of mechanical engineering, semiconductors, the optical industry, medical technology, and aerospace.
