By investing in a new facility, Jenaer Gewindetechnik is not only modernizing its production but can also better meet the steadily growing demand," emphasizes Thuringia's Minister of Economic Affairs, Wolfgang Tiefensee, whose ministry is supporting the company with an investment grant of one million euros. This will also create modern jobs for the approximately 100 employees currently working there. The company has been manufacturing ball screw gearboxes since 1970, which are now in demand primarily in the fields of mechanical engineering, semiconductors, the optical industry, medical technology, and aerospace.
