Location: Krasnodar (Russia) Participants: 8 Thuringian companies Programme highlights: four-day trade fair; conference and exhibition "Days of German Architecture" Summary: The Krasnodar Architecture and Construction Forum is the largest open trade fair in southern Russia. Only 100 km from the Black Sea and the future Olympic city of Sochi, the construction industry of the Kuban region makes its decisions in the regional capital Krasnodar. The administration and company headquarters of the Kuban are located here. In preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, around 30 billion euros in investments are flowing directly and indirectly into this region. German quality enjoys an excellent reputation in the local construction industry. LEG Thüringen organized a joint stand in cooperation with the Leipzig Trade Fair, at which eight Thuringian companies from the fields of windows, doors, facades, roofs; metal construction; planning, engineering; architecture, and consulting participated.
