Supporting companies in their digital transformation is the business model of the internationally active digital agency IBM iX. The company, which operates around 50 studios worldwide, is now also active from Erfurt. Supported by the LEG Thüringen , the digital agency has established a new studio in the state capital, initially creating 20 new jobs there by the end of this year; according to IBM iX, this number is expected to rise to a total of 100 by the end of 2024. “Economic development and digitalization are areas of responsibility that our LEG corporate group is advancing on behalf of the state government. We are pleased to support IBM iX with our broad range of expertise – with a full service that ranged from a successful site search, to networking with local partners and universities, to support in recruiting skilled workers,” states LEG Managing Director Andreas Krey regarding IBM iX's establishment in Thuringia. “We see enormous potential in the Erfurt area. The quality of the education and university landscape is very good, as is the connection to our other locations. In addition, the region offers a high quality of life and a wide range of leisure activities. This makes it a very attractive working environment for talents.“
