Health is a top priority in Thuringia

In terms of quality of life and health, Thuringia repeatedly proves to be an attractive location for company executives and skilled workers who live and work here: Two projects in the south and east of the state underline this in different ways.

In Masserberg, a town in southern Thuringia with a picturesque location in the Thuringian Forest, the state is funding the conversion of a thermal spa into a forest bathing center. From 2023, the building will embrace the theme of "forest" in a variety of ways – through light, sound, and materials such as wood and stone. With attractive offerings like a panoramic sauna, a forest spa, a mountain meadow flower pool, and a new restaurant, the bathing center aims to make forest bathing a truly immersive sensory experience.

Health is also the central focus of the already completed Waldkliniken Eisenberg project (East Thuringia). Here, Managing Director David-Ruben Thies has created a hospital with a novel concept. With its wide range of offerings, this facility aims to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff, particularly regarding working conditions and atmosphere. Thies calls his new type of hospital a "patient hotel"—and the name says it all! (hw)
