The last German-Indian Roundtable this year was held under the motto “Current topics from business, politics, and pandemic regulations“. Due to the current pandemic situation, the GIRT took place in digital form.
After the welcome by Franziska Kindervater, Karl Freedman (Dr. Wamser+Batra GmbH - Mumbai Overseas Office) analyzed the current situation. Subsequently, Mike Batra and Sonjoy Chaudhury (Dr. Wamser+Batra GmbH) spoke about business opportunities in India. Further contributions came from Holger Wilde (GBneuhaus), Jörg Gäbler (GIZ India) and maxx solar. Holger Wilde explained from the perspective of a Thuringian company how the situation in India was handled over the past year. Jörg Gäbler gave an overview of the work of GIZ and provided information on how companies can work for GIZ in India, and maxx solar presented its current photovoltaic project in the Indian education sector. The webinar was rounded off by a joint and interactive exchange among all participants.
