A total of four innovative young companies have made it into the prestigious and eagerly anticipated annual ranking by Passion4Business GmbH, which has been recognizing Germany's top 50 startups since 2016: Pramomolecular, Tediro, Polytives, and Robust AO represent a broad spectrum of Thuringian award winners, ranging from biotechnology and Industry 4.0 to automation applications, intelligent medical technology solutions, and plastics innovation. The team from Pramomolecular, based in Gera and Berlin, secured fifth place in the ranking with its approach to silencing cancer proteins in the pancreas and lungs. Robust AO from Jena took 35th place with its business idea of achieving greater resource efficiency through the industrial application of adaptive optics for high-performance lasers. This young company, a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF), has already received the ThEx Award. Tediro, with its intelligent and mobile robots, achieved 41st place. These robots are primarily intended for use in medical diagnostics and therapy, thus significantly supporting and relieving the workload of medical personnel. Polytives, a Jena-based startup founded in 2020, develops products and solutions to optimize plastics and contribute to the circular economy.
