A total of four innovative young companies make it into the renowned and annually eagerly awaited ranking by Passion4Business GmbH, which has been crowning Germany's TOP 50 start-ups since 2016: With the companies Pramomolecular, Tediro, Polytives and Robust AO, the spectrum of Thuringian award winners is broadly diversified, ranging from biotechnology to Industry 4.0 and automation applications to intelligent solutions in medical technology and plastics innovation. The team from Pramomolecular from Gera and Berlin lands in fifth place in the ranking with its approach to silencing cancer proteins in the pancreas and lungs. Robust AO from Jena takes 35th place with the business idea of achieving greater resource efficiency through the industrial application of adaptive optics for high-performance lasers. The young company was founded as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF) and has already been awarded the ThEx Award. Tediro reaches 41st place with its intelligent and mobile robots, which in the future can be used primarily in the medical diagnostics and therapy sector, thus providing crucial support and relief for medical staff. Polytives, a start-up founded in Jena in 2020, develops products and solutions to optimize plastics and contribute to the circular economy. This Thuringian company lands in 44th place in the ranking.
