Originally, the components were assembled, tested, stored, and shipped at a site in Hungary. The company management decided to relocate to Weimar, a location where Desay is already significantly active: In the industrial area in Weimar-Legefeld, the company operates a development center and prototype laboratory, where manufacturers have their pre-series vehicles ("Erlkönige") equipped and tested. A state-of-the-art 3D antenna measurement chamber and a laboratory and office building are also being built there. The company thus still has big plans in Thuringia, with the number of employees expected to rise to 300 by 2025. (hw)
