• Stationary cooperation exchanges / "Mobile" exchange in Japan

• Trip to Hamamatsu with symposium, company presentations, and further company visits
• Contract signings, among others, by Jena-Optronik GmbH and Herwig Bohrtechnik GmbH with Japanese companies

The aim of this delegation trip was to strengthen economic relations between Korea and Thuringia and to enable Thuringian companies to find trade and cooperation partners. The trip to Korea and Japan was very successful. Symposia on optics and medical technology took place in Seoul, Tokyo and also in Hamamatsu (for the optics sector). Contact exchanges were held in Seoul and Tokyo in parallel to or for the optics and medical technology sectors following the symposia. In total, the companies conducted over 200 discussions. During the trip, some companies concluded contracts in Japan; in addition, the university representatives who traveled along agreed on new partnerships. A highlight of the trip was the festive reception on the Day of German Unity, on October 3, at the German Embassy in Tokyo. to the image gallery
