Continuing his activities in supporting Thuringian companies in opening up new economic markets abroad, the Thuringian Minister-President traveled at the head of a prominent business delegation in September 2007 to the new EU countries Bulgaria and Romania. This delegation trip was aimed at strengthening the existing economic relations between companies of the Free State and companies from these two countries, establishing new Contacte with the Bulgarian and Romanian economies, and offering the Thuringian participants the opportunity to get to know the economic situation in both countries even better.
