The path to a greenhouse gas-neutral production process comes with many challenges. This includes not only the switch to renewable energies, but also the use of environmentally friendly materials as well as greater material efficiency. To support the Thuringian economy, the competence center “Decarbonization of the Thuringian Economy” has now been established at the Thuringian Energy and GreenTech Agency (ThEGA). Specifically, networking, further training, and consulting are offered, up to an exchange platform that consolidates all information. The establishment of a partner network and a database with best practice examples is also planned, as well as support as a funding guide. (maa)
