Ilona Balogh (Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) began by discussing the current economic situation. She highlighted that further growth is expected, particularly in the automotive sector, mechanical and plant engineering, and the electronics industry. Lucrative market opportunities are also anticipated in pilot projects in the areas of hydrogen and electromobility. Silvio Fiedler, Export Manager at WSA electronic GmbH & Co. KG, then reported on his consistently positive experiences with market development in Hungary. He also addressed the local public procurement practices.
