Following a geopolitical and historical classification of current global economic trends by Ralf Schuster (Geopolitical expert at Helaba), our other speakers Christoph Winnat informed us (Head of the Helaba Representative Office Singapore) as well as Henry Steger (Sales Manager of Docter Optics SE) to concrete entry-level and business opportunities in South Korea. In addition, the approximately 30 participants were given insights into Korean business practices and tips for safe intercultural interaction with business partners.
Conclusion: A successful market entry in South Korea is not a given. But if you engage with the country and its people, there is generally nothing standing in the way of business success!
