Egypt, alongside South Africa and Morocco, is one of the most important investment locations for German companies on the African continent. Despite the pandemic situation, the country was able to record economic growth of 3.6 percent in 2020.
Thuringian companies interested in the Egyptian market received a differentiated and compact overview of the economy at the event. Participants were informed about the legal framework conditions for establishing a sales structure. A small and medium-sized Thuringian company rounded off the program with a report on its experiences.
