Traditionally, there are good relations between the new federal states and Vietnam. In Vietnam, the generation currently in office and with influence is the one that worked or studied in Germany. These conditions were taken into account with the trip to Hanoi. The results and feedback from the entrepreneurs were very positive: 55 business discussions were held. It became apparent that the Vietnamese counterparts were very well prepared. A visit to the Ministry for Investment Promotion also brought in a list of planned infrastructure projects (including PPP projects with support from KfW) that are also of interest to Thuringian entrepreneurs.
